Christo was a self-taught rider and uses his personal learning experience alongside his professional training to decrease your learning curve and increase your fun.
Melissa – grew up in upstate New York, loving to ski, hike and spend time outdoors. Once she learned about kiteboarding she began playing with power kites in open fields and learning to snowkite on frozen lakes. When the weather warmed she made the inevitable trip down to the Outer Banks of North Carolina for perfect kitesurfing conditions and became totally hooked on the sport. She started teaching her friends and was stoked about introducing more people to kiteboarding so she teamed up with Kite Club New York to help people get into the sport. Melissa’s approach to teaching is that kiteboarding can be a very extreme sport but it doesn’t have to be that way for you if you have a solid control of the basics and if you learn at your own pace.
